Hi Everyone!,

It has been such a crazy week! I am so glad to be here in Lemoore with Sister Malpica. We had a lot go on this week but we were able to find some great new investigators this weekend! We worked so hard probably harder than ever to meet our goals for the week. We found some great ones that accepted the invitation to be baptized! We are so excited!

We also have some great news. WE HAVE A BAPTISM THIS WEEKEND! It is truly a miracle! We had two investigators show up for church and they are both working towards their baptism dates! Our miracle one is for Wesley this month on the 30th! We are so happy for him, he is 13 and  has NEVER liked listening to other missionaries for years. EVERYONE else in his family has been baptized and they had been struggling working with him. We had so many visuals and games for him to enjoy learning and NOW is his time to shine!!!!!

We get a NEW mission President this week! We have our final Zone Conference tomorrow and we are all so pumped! It is so bitter/sweet but change can be good and that is what I am hoping for. We had the chance to go on exchanges and we had so many service opportunities! We help at this Christian Aid place and they donate clothes to people who can't afford them. We had this one guy come in and get a lot. He was on a bike and couldn't carry them. We helped him and put some in our car and took it to his house for him. He was so thankful and agreed to hear our message. It was such a powerful experience, something small yet so profound. We even got to help one of our members tear up carpet and paint their house. Sister Malpica and I were like we aren't very good but we are here to help! They had no AC but somehow we found so much joy in serving others. Our apartment also has no AC we found that out when we would turn it on and just be studying and sweating. We slept downstairs by the back door leaving it open and with one fan hahah good times. No worries it is currently getting fixed blessings!

We didn't have a temple trip but I have one next Friday! I am so happy! Wahoo! Have a great week Love you all so much!

Love Hermana Pachner

This picture is of Sister Jones and I on top of the Mountain in Lindsay! Sister Malpica and I will take some this week! haha more to come!

Hi Everyone!,
How was your week? I hope everyone had a great Father's Day! We had a lot of fun handing them cookies after sacrament yesterday. I love going to church and just feeling uplifted by partaking of the sacrament. What a blessing we get that chance every week!

We had another crazy week! We biked sooo much this week almost every day!! It was crazy we were super sore every night. We could barely run in the mornings we were like jogging with our eyes closed. It was great though because .. blessings for sacrifices. We almost got hit by a car everyday and at one point our bike fell off the rakes when we had to go out to a meeting. It was so scary because we were on the highway and there was like nowhere to pull off. However we did as quickly as we could and said a quick prayer for help. We noticed our bikes were all tangled together and it was super hot. (it has been like 105-110) everyday for the past week. Anyways as soon as we finished this huge guy pulls over and offers to help us, he lifts up the bikes with one hand and just straps them back on. We were in shock and so grateful for his kindness. I know the Lord is always in the details of our lives and willing to help us. He answers every prayer in his own time and in his own way. I loved it though! Also we got told we could get some more miles for all the heat and we were so happy!

We also became the Hulk this week. We had one of the members ask for help.. from the Elders out in Hanford. We only have sisters now serving in Lemoore and we were like nooo we can help you please let us serve you! She claimed she had to move the washer and dryer and get rid of these roaches behind them. We looked at her and said we will be there at 4. We went and we just picked it up and moved it and she was so shocked and happy. We were like Sister we are always here to help don't shy away because we are Hermanas. We are tough! haha it was a funny experience.
Anyways, we are teaching some cool people and have some baptisms coming up in July! We are super excited! The Lord is blessing Lemoore.

I love this work so much! I know it is the hardest but is the most rewarding and it is the best message the world could hear! OHHH one thing I found in my personal study I would love to share in Chapter 11 of the First Book of Nephi it says the word "LOOK!" on page 20-21 and it says "look and I beheld the Lamb of God" or "The Son of God"  .. Notice is says the word 7 times! There are 7 days in a week and how often do we Look at the Savior through out the week!? We need to be constantly striving to become more like our Savior. It was just a cool thought. Anyways! Love you all :)

Hola everyone!,

I will try to answer everyone's questions about the new area! First off  we cover ALL Spanish. We cover Lemoore, Riverdale, Stratford and the Lemoore Naval Air Station. There is a English Ward and the Spanish there is few. Not even enough to make a branch. There are just translators for everything. It is honestly so sad! Most of Lemoore is English too and I never realized how much work there is to do here! We are mainly on bikes this transfer because they have been cutting back miles. I love working the base though it is so much fun!
I love Sister Malpica, she is so funny and we get along great! I have been blessed with great companions! Lets see her favorite color is maroon! She is from Provo, Utah where else? ALL of my companions have been from Utah in the mission field. She is originally from Mexico though so she is fluent in Spanish which is helpful for me! The language is becoming easier still a struggle at times. I feel like everyone speaks it a little bit differently or speaks it fast. It is a work in progress you could say.

Not much has happened we are just finding. It is weird only being over Spanish because any English person you talk to goes to the other sisters. Oh yeah, So the Elders got doubled out of this area and there are now to sets of Sisters in the ward. Us, over the Spanish and the other sisters over the English. SO DIFFERENT! No Elders! Ahh so weird.  Everyone seems to enjoy that though haha got to love them though.

We have four with a date for baptism though. I don't even know how but hopefully they work out! I think we were just feeling that this week! haha anyways hope everyone has a great week!
I will hopefully have more next week! The new mission President comes in, in July! We have final interviews with President Clark this Friday! AHHHH SO MANY CHANGES! It has been kind of hard but I have definitely turned to prayer a lot.

Lastly I leave you all with my testimony, I know without a doubt that this church is true. That Heavenly Father is loving and has provided a perfect plan for us to be able to return to live with him.  He provided a path that leads straight to him. I know that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever and that he has and continues to speak to his children on the earth. He gave his son Jesus Christ to save the world. Jesus Christ suffered and atoned for each of us in order to understand and help us through out this life. I know through our Savior we are able to continue to grow and become more like him. I know the Book of Mormon is a powerful witness and testimony of our Saviors love for us. I know with the Bible and the Book of Mormon both serve as the word of God and give us the protection we need to withstand temptation. I know with Christ all things are possible and he can make us more than we ever thought we would be able to become.

Have a great week! LOTS OF LOVEEE!

Last goodbye pictures from Lindsay,,,next week I will have some from Lemoore!!!!

Hi Everyone!,
This week was just as crazy! We got transfer calls! I am getting transferred tomorrow to Lemoore and Sister Jones is staying again in Lindsay! That was some of my hardest goodbyes. I can not wait to come back after and just meet with everyone again!  Haha I am going to be with Sister Malpica and I have been on exchanges to Lemoore several times! I have even gone to their MCMs! I am super excited except I know it is ONLY Spanish there. They can't teach the english because the Elders their are English. So anybody we find that is becomes their referral. That is definitely different but I am excited for my spanish to get better! That and Sister Malpica is awesome, and fluent in spanish!

This is my Mission President's last transfer here! He is headed back to Utah and we are getting President Mckay soon. I am excited for change but also a little nervous!

I was really sick during the end of the week but luckily Sister Jones was able to go out and continue the work. I think we are both back to health now though. We are so sad to be split up but we know our friendship will continue. As a final goodbye our district hiked the "L" this morning. It was literally like hiking the "Y" in Utah around BYU except it was just a straight path right up the hill. Straight and narrow was the way, literally!  It was so exhausting since we both had just been recovering from sickness. However we accomplished it and it was so worth it! We had a lot of fun and then we all went and got icees from Burger King. We had a great time!

I love you all so much!,

Jun 05th, 2017 - Transfer!!!

Off to Lemoore!!!

May 29th, 2017

Hi Everyone!,
Hope everyone has a great Memorial Day! We are unfortunately in all day today. Sister Jones has the stomach flu. Yeahh.. not fun. I have seen every Mormon message or DVD that we own.
Rewind to earlier in the week though it was actually better! All in all it has been a roller coaster week! I normally like roller coasters but this one was not as much fun. We started off the week great celebrating a recent converts birthday. We had breakfast with Travis and that was awesome, he is talking to so many of his friends about the gospel.

Then we had been trying for so long to get a hold of one of our recent converts, Della and later found out she blocked us and needed some space. It was kind of hard for us because we had not only been the missionaries that just taught her but we were really good friends. She had come out teaching with us and invited us to lunches all the time.  Everyday we were trying to find and we did not have any luck until a few days ago. Everyone we talked to this week was either atheist, not interested, or told us to go away. Whew it was a faith building experience that is for sure. We also dropped ALL our our investigators and are starting BRAND NEW! We even thought to go talk to the bishop and ward mission leader for further council.

Then Sister Jones got sick :/ She ran down the street while I was talking to a potential outside and it was just a rough experience. I was cleaning and disinfecting the entire house. However I got to read a lot of good talks as well! I learned so much during all the free time inside. Even though not much went well for us this week we have such a great week ahead. I feel it in my bones and truly nothing holds Sister Jones and I back! We are still focused and were some how able to still find six new people to teach. Pretty good for being inside this week! We know we still have a long way to go but we are ready.

Our mission president recently challenged us to tell him the DOCTRINE of the a MISSION. I was like what? because after that we were to give him the principles and the applications. Truly I found it to be the Gospel of Jesus Christ or his teachings and how it is all through the Atonement of Jesus Christ.  We start out with Faith, faith is not just a belief it is ACTION, "faith without works is dead", then repentance, or change, a change outward facing the Savior. Repentance we teach but we USE the ATONEMENT to cleanse us to help us become more like the Savior. Then we must make that promise by being baptized and for members partaking of that Sacrament. Then we continually strive to stay worthy of the GIFT of the Holy Ghost. We need him to be our constant companion in all things. He can bring that change "INTO the hearts" Of God's children. We can only bring the message UNTO the hearts of them. Then we go forth every day pressing forward and enduring. The gospel is a way of a life it is a continual conversion process. I love teaching my brothers and sisters about the restored truths of the Gospel of Jesus Christ I know it is true without a doubt! I love you all and I leave you with that! Have a great week! :)

Love,
Hermana Ashley Pachner

Hi Everyone!,
Hope everyone had a great week! Last Monday we had the opportunity to go to Three Rivers with Della and Sister Cordon. It was really fun and we got to eat at this restaurant that was outside right next to the river. We had so much fun, it was so cold though and we thought it was going to rain.

We had Zone Conference this week too! That was inspiring we learned a lot about finding through Less-Actives. We learned that more than half of their friends are non members and that is where the fish are! It was perfect since Sister Jones and I are on the search for new investigators. We haven't had such a successful week with that, and hardly any of our potentials worked out. Hopefully this week is better! We just want to find a family!

This week I also had the opportunity to go on exchanges with Sister Kokol. She was so funny she is nicknamed, Happy and we had a great time in Corcoran. They are struggling over there and don't have  a lot of members but those sisters are working so hard. It was so cool to see their example to me and how strong they are. I know there are people prepared out there and it is our job to find them.

We had Stake Conference yesterday! That was so cool. We learned a lot about the importance of the Book of Mormon. I love hearing others testimonies and I know that book draws us all closer to our Savior. Sorry it's short, hopefully more will happen next week! :)
Thank you for all the love and support!

Love you!
