Hola Everyone!,

I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day and an awesome past week! I loved being able to talk with my family and catch up with them. We had such a packed week! We are all  MOVED INTO LINDSAY! We are so happy there and saving so many miles. The new place feels like a mini farm with chickens, a dog, and a cat. The members we live behind left on vacation and we are feeding their animals and taking care of their garden. Feels so weird! haha
We had President Interviews this week as well. That is always fun I love talking to President Clark and getting his counsel. His wife came out teaching with us as well. That was scary! Definitely a lot more intimidating!

Then we had exchanges with the Porterville Sisters. That was crazy, I felt so bad Sister Willmore got home and was just so sick. She had been toughing it out all day. She ended up having the stomach flu.. Hoping I do not get it!

Saturday, was baptism day! We were so happy with Bianca and Della. Bianca was baptized at 6:00pm and it went so well. She was so ready not even nervous!  Her father came and watched and she was so happy. She was just ready when we met her!

Bianca's Baptism!!

After at 7.00pm was Della, her two kids came (super young boys) and her dad and his girlfriend. She also had a few friends come out and they loved it! They said they are so glad Della joined this church. Sister Jones and I had the opportunity to do the interlude on "Feed My Sheep" it went really well. We shared the story of Peter and when Christ asks him three times, "Do you love me?" I know if we do love him we will show it by the way we live. I loved studying that topic as well and just realizing God's love for all of his children. Here goes to a week of finding!

Della's Baptism!!!

We have like nobody we are teaching. Looks like a bike week and a find week! Super excited! We even have Zone Conference tomorrow. Wahoo! Also, hopefully today we get to go to the Three Rivers ,and do some hiking. Anyways, hope everyone has a great week!

Love you all !

Hello Everyone!,

I hope you all had an amazing week! We had so much that went on this past week. We had the opportunity to do service for the Elderly. They were all playing bingo and I realized that was Sister Jones and I in 50 years! haha we had a good time. They were so friendly.. except when I got told I look like I am 15!? haha.

We are moving to Lindsay this Friday! We are so excited! We are going to have some chickens and a dog! Well, okay they are the members but still! They told us we get farm fresh eggs and a dog named, Spike.

I finally got a nickname this week from Grandma! She is an older women who loves all the missionaries. She gives them all nicknames and she said I have been her hardest one yet to find a name for. I have been here for 7 weeks! She finally found it is " JOY!"

That made me so happy, she said I always have a smile on my face and I brighten her day. Sister Jones is "GRACE" we go to together really well you could say!
On cinco de Mayo we had Chinese food. It was really good but kind of a let down. We wanted some Mexican! However, we went to the Ra-matte (flee market) afterwards and had fun talking to people there.

We have two baptisms coming up this weekend! One for Della, who hit rock bottom in her life and the one we found at the park who had been talking to her Dad about being baptized just five minutes before we showed up. The other one is, Bianca, she is just so prepared! She is spanish and just accepts everything we share with her so well. She even said the closing prayer in church yesterday. They both did awesome with their interviews and are set for the 13th!
Our Recent Convert Travis, wanted to make a reading plan for both the BOM and the Bible. We made a two year plan with him and he is so excited!

WAHOO!
We also had exchanges with the Porterville Sisters, Sister Jeffrey and I had so much fun! Love the work field, love the work!

Alma 26:3-4
3 Behold, I answer for you; for our brethren, the Lamanites, were in darkness, yea, even in the darkest abyss, but behold, how many of them are brought to behold the marvelous light of God! And this is the blessing which hath been bestowed upon us, that we have been made instruments in the hands of God to bring about this great work. 4 Behold, thousands of them do rejoice, and have been brought into the fold of God

How great is our calling! Love you all :)

Daisy & Genesis Baptism!!!!
So AWESOME!!!!

Hi Everyone!,

I hope all of you had an amazing week! We accomplished so much this week!

Daisy and Genesis were able to be baptized yesterday! The husband was supportive but shows no interest yet. One day he will! Anyways, it was super powerful! They have been preparing for awhile now and we were so happy they finally made this step. Sister Jones and I had the opportunity to do the interlude at the baptism on joy! We talked about how the gospel brings us joy and the conversion on Alma the Younger. (Alma 36:19-21) It helped me realize all the blessing in missionary work and in my life in general. How much JOY I feel while serving the Lord and helping others.
At the baptism two of our investigators came! Bianca and Della! They left both ready for their baptisms and we are probably going to do the 13th for them. They are in their mid 20's and both have very different pasts. Della especially had a few issues that landed her at rock bottom. She wants to change so badly and they both are progressing so well! Hopefully May is another successful month looking good so far!

We also biked a little bit this week! Every time an Elder or someone saw us they would be like, "Sisters on bikes?"  YES! It happens! haha anyways it makes it easier for us to talk to people and to find. It only comes through sacrifices, that we can receive these miracles in our area.
On Saturday, I was able to go back to Kerman and see Jasmine be baptized! Her family was a part member family and we had been working with them for a long time! It was so good to see them along with a bunch of other familiar faces! I had such a blast but I knew that Lindsay is where I needed to be. I know the Lord directs his work and I am so happy to be here with Sister Jones. We work so well together and have a lot of laughs. We truly find JOY in the journey. I felt that love for these people as they made the convenant of baptism with their Father in Heaven. It reminds me of his love for each of us, and he is helping us every step of the way!

Love you all :)
